New Item Master Title

Summary

HiPoint is a holistic system that tracks virtually everything that needs to be known about an item and how it appears on the website. Generally the Data Department will enter new titles but from time to time Customer Service may need to enter something to get it into the system so that Barbara can order it.

For an Item to appear on the website there are three key fields that must be entered properly:

Retail price (p1)
Bisac-subj (p1)
Clean title (p3)

Usually items will be entered from a BookManager page and Barbara will have noted the vendor and the vendor discount.

NOTE: The following information is for MANUAL entry of Items. The Data Department bulk enters Items through Excel/CSV files.
